Instruction Manual

1 – Antenna Installation

The antenna must be installed at a high point. It should be at least 25cm away from metal objects and should be kept further than 2m away from the PC to avoid interference.
When the antenna is powered it takes about 15 seconds to initialise. Only after the initialisation period it communicates with the terminals or the PC.
PC software should check the antenna and show an error message if it does not respond.
If the antenna fails to respond power it off, wait 5 seconds, power it on and wait for the initialisation period.

2 – Charging the Batteries

Batteries must be charged for 8 hours before first use.
When you charge the batteries please look at the indicator light to check that the terminal is well positioned and charging. The terminals have golden contacts to avoid oxidation, please avoid scratching them. If cleaning is needed, please use a dry cloth.
Terminal batteries cannot be overcharged. However you should avoid leaving the terminals on the charger for extended periods to avoid unnecessary battery ware.

3 – Main Menu

Use the keys and to select an option and press .

To order some food please select option 1 (you can also press the 1 key directly)
Fill in the table number, press and proceed to paragraph 4.

4 – Product Entry by Code

Fill in the product code and press . Check the product description.
Fill in the quantity (if not 1) and press .
Repeat for all products.

5 – Product Search by Family

If you don't know a product code, press to enter search by family mode.
Use the keys and to select a family and press .
If another family list appears, do it again.

When the product list for the family you have chosen appears proceed to next paragraph.

6 – Product Search

Product search is active after a family selection or if you press .
A list of products will appear.
Use the keys and to select a product and press .
If you hold down, the and keys will do page up and page down.
You can use the keys and to change to the previous or to the next product list.

7 – Review and Changes

To review the list use keys and to move the cursor up and down. The screen will scroll if necessary.
To decrease and increase quantities use the keys and .
To change a product write a new code or do a new product search with or .

8 - Transmit

After you check the list transmit it to the PC using the key or pressing when the cursor is on the last screen line.
The main menu appears when the terminal receives the acknowledge that the transmission is made OK. If the antenna is out of range then the terminal will retry until it succeeds.
