In
order to modify the retransmitter configuration, Devkit is used. (http://www.x64.com/download/devkit.zip).
The instructions are detailed bellow:
Intall the Devkit. Form the serial port and the BaudRate in Edit - Configurations
- RS232 Settings. The BaudRate by default is 19200. To change the antenna's
baudrate, just change the fields in this option. The antenna must whistle
and reinitiate.
In Edit-configurations-Base Configuration
the name of the retransmitter is indicated. It will be ALWAYS ("RES")
for restaurants.
The Base Number is the number of this retransmitter.
The RetrNumber is the number to wich the retransmitter
sends the signal (it is normally 0).
For example, if we have a restaurant with an antenna called
"RES00" and we wat to set a retransmitter, this should to be called RES01
and repeat the signal for RES00.
Pressing the 'Send' button the antenna will whistle and reinitiat
with a new configuration.
- The retransmitter
should be placed in an area where the terminals work well.
Antenna's and retransmitters' firmwares are different.
-
- The BaudRate radio should
normally be 20000. Antennas sold before february 2001 had 40000 by default.
