X64 Wireless Terminals

Form the Antenna for restaurants

ONLY IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES A MODIFICATION OF THE ANTENNA'S CONFIGURATION IS NEEDED

The antenna connects with the PC by a serial cable. The reach of the signal is aproximately 150 m in open field. The ideal place to put a antenna is between 3 and 50 metres far from the PC, for the distances of less than 3 metres create interferences and  damage the reach of the signal.

In order to form an antenna, the Devkit must be read from our site http://www.x64.com/download/devkit.zip.

In Edit-Configurations-Rs232 Settings, the right value of the port must be formed and the Baudrate must be 19200. If the antenna is connected, it must whistle and reinitiate.

On this menu, only the inferior Send button must be pressed, since the restaurant's antenna's name MUST ALWAYS BE  "RES00"

Here the user can define the type of radio modulus used by the antenna (generally Radiometrix) and the baudrate. The configuration table on the terminals must be verified to see which baudrate is recommended. It must be noted that, if the baudrate is modified here, the terminals must have the same value, otherwise the terminals will not communicate.
